This tutorial will show you how to search for an ebook or print book when you know the title.
How to use this tutorial
Lets get started!
In the Library SEARCH box, enter the book title from the citation below and click 'Search'. (The book title is in bold).

Tip: for long titles you can often just search using the first part or phrase.
Go to Step 2: Search Results
Usually your title will be one of the first search results. Use the citation information to confirm that it's the book you're looking for.
Scroll through your results (it's probably the first result) until you find:
Is the book in the results list?
For this citation we have found an ebook (online), and a print book. Ebooks can be read online or downloaded to read later.
Note: Some ebooks have limits on the number of people that can read it at the same time. Try again later if you can't get access straight away.
Print books can be found in the library.
If the book is online(ebook):
Click on the Available Online link, then log in with your UOW username and password to access the book.
If the book you want to read is in the Library:
Click on the Available at Wollongong Library Wollongong Library Lending and other locations link
Scroll down to Location Take note of the Call number of the book and Availability so you can collect it from the shelf.
If someone else has borrowed the book you can place a hold on it.
1. Make sure you are signed in with your username and password
2. Under 'Availability' click on Hold next to Request
